Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

While Jen has been off in the UK eating fabulous curry, I have had a mission of my own: to find a fabulous pair of shoes. 

My sister of course was the woman to talk to, and she did not fail me. She took me to her favourite Parisian shoe store, and within 20 minutes I was walking out with a sufficiently enlightened Visa card, and THESE:
