Day one on the town with our cameras started of course with coffee. l'espresso, to be exact. I won't mention the grossly overpriced first one we had in the tourist district, served by a fellow who carried the most all-encompassing concern about life and everything in it that I have ever seen. I won't mention that, no. We had FRESH croissants avec confiture due frais et du apricots in a little bakery, with delightful espresso. Nice.
THEN: Notre Dame, cause it was raining and it's free to get in. Unfortunately, every tourist in Paris had the same idea. No matter.

A tourist paying to pray. Though I did think god's love was unconditional, it does make for nice piccies.
As Jen mentioned, we caught Catholic mass - en français! The guilt came through very well in the translation. This is the grande priest giving communion afterwards. I think that's what it's called - ?
A window. They don't make em like they used to.
Fresh!!
Those dirty catholics.

Bon jour Jennifer. The photos are fantastic, makes me want to go to Paris 2.
